Yoga comes from the root Yuj (युज्)
which means union, joining, uniting, connecting with our reality.
Yoga is not a performance,
nor a pursuit of the perfect posture, nor a matter of flexibility.
It is a practice that brings you back to yourself, to your body, your breath,
and to that inner silence which everyday life so often covers over.
With awareness, each movement, each breath becomes an invitation to release: a restless mind, accumulated tension, the constant noise of our lives.
Little by little, a calm, peaceful space awakens,
consciousness rises and reveals a state of inner union.
Yoga does not promise perfection, it offers something far better:
a path back to yourself.
"Where consciousness goes, energy goes." - Roger Clerc
Energy Yoga
A gentle yet invigorating yoga, accessible to all
Energy Yoga is a subtle, progressive form of Hatha Yoga from the lineage of Roger Clerc, which adapts to each practitioner, whatever their age, level, or state on any given day.
Four pillars structure the practice:
1
Listening to the body - before acting on the body, we learn to listen to it. The practice invites us to adopt the stance of an observer, without judgment, simply welcoming whatever arises: sensations, emotions, movements of the mind.
2
The breath, the starting point of the practice - Breathing is the very heart of life, and the way we breathe reflects what moves through us. The practice brings us back to this starting point: learning to release what weighs us down, to make room for what wants to be born.
"Empty well to fill better." — Roger Clerc
3
The circulation of energy, a play of polarities - The sun and the moon, the earth and the sky, the masculine and the feminine: the practice circulates energy between these complementary poles. Through this play of balances, we rediscover an inner unity and open ourselves to a greater awareness of self.
4
Awakening to the energies of the seasons - Throughout the year, the postures, breathing rhythms, and intensity of the practice evolve — more inward-turning in winter, more expansive in summer. A way of supporting the body and its energy wherever it stands, at each moment.

living in harmony with nature, with yourself
in rhythm with the seasons

Not separate from nature, and made of the same substance, we live in resonance with the living world around us.
We are subject to the same cycles, the same impulses, the same calls toward inwardness.
But are we truly aware of this?
Do we live in harmony with nature, with ourselves?
And so, the practice attunes itself to the energy of the living world, of the seasons:
-
Autumn Energy: slowing down – grounding – rootedness
-
Winter Energy: regenerating – diving inward – silence
-
Spring Energy: rebirth – vital momentum – strength
-
Summer Energy: radiating – joy – opening of the heart
-
All-Season Energy: adapting – transition – listening
Each season carries its own particular energy, its own way of approaching the postures, the breath, life itself.
"Living according to the seasons, is reconnecting to our true nature."
the flow of a weekly session
an hour to come back to yourself
Each session begins with a time of centering, to arrive fully and settle in. Then come the preparations and postures, attuned to the breath and to what you feel.
The session always ends with a relaxation, extended by a time of meditation, a moment of integration where the practice can continue to work in silence.
What the practice nurtures in you:
✓ Stretches and strengthens the body as a whole
✓ Reduces physical and emotional tension
✓ Calms the mind, reduces stress
✓ Promotes quality sleep
✓ Strengthens the immune system
✓ Improves concentration
a yoga practice for you
whatever your path
You don't need to be flexible, nor to have ever practiced yoga before. All you need is to arrive, just as you are.
Whether you're a beginner or have been practicing for years, whether you're seeking to quiet an overactive mind, regain mobility, or simply give yourself some time; the practice adapts to you, balancing accessibility and depth.
