The word "YOGA" is derived from the Sanskrit root "yuj"
which means: to join, to unify to unite with our reality.
Yoga invites the practitioner, through postures, breathing, relaxation, meditation... to find and maintain balance and reestablish harmony in the functions of the different bodies: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
By raising awareness of the energies, atmospheres and polarities in us and around us (the sun (Ha), the Moon (Tha), the Earth and the Sky, the Masculine and the Feminine), the practice invites us to connect, balance and unite these energies in order to strive for this unity of our being and open ourselves to pure consciousness, to this force of Life within us.
