Prenatal Yoga is a wonderful tool to support the pregnant woman and the couple during pregnancy and allow them to experience this sacred period in serenity, confidence, and harmony.
Through a series of postures, the pregnant woman discovers this new "pregnancy body" that is being built around her baby: her pelvis, perineum, abdominal muscles, and belly, the privileged place of contact with the baby, her spine, etc.
Through breathing, the vehicle of energy in the body (prana), the pregnant woman learns to better circulate energy in her body, for deep relaxation and a recharge of energy on the day of delivery.
Through relaxation and visualization, the practice strengthens and cultivates self-confidence and one's abilities, in the energy of Life, preparing for childbirth with complete serenity and joy.
Throughout the sessions, the pregnant woman opens up to the life that is emerging within her, becoming aware of her body and her baby, and listening to her feelings, to best experience her birth plan.
How does a session roll?
Each session is punctuated by a time of refocusing and connecting with the baby, preparations and postures, and ends with a moment of relaxation/rest, meditation.
